I don't think this is
synasthesia because it is
not an automatic
construct. I am
deliberately creating an
abstraction of a mental
sense-perception. But if I
have mapped sufficient of
the 'processes of the
universe' as they apply to
that particular item then
you should be able to
recognise it.
It is the sensation that is
memorable, not the name. The
name is just semantic
baggage attached to it.

see if we can all
experience the same
sensation from some
common drinks such as hot
coffee, cold milk, tea, or
lager.
The result was no.
Abstraction is not

In
the first step of abstraction
the territory is 'What Is
(actually) Going On' (WIGO); it
is the total cosmic event at
one time, the map is what we
abstract from it; it is the
imprint that our transaction
with a fraction of the universe
of processes makes on our
psychophysiological organism.
The component parts of the
territory are transformed into
elements of a different order
of existence, and it is these
new and different elements
that constitute the map
